Lana is another player I have known for a very long time, as she was the little sister to a long-time player of mine. The first thing I noticed when I met Lana at 8 years old: girl has skill. I asked her parents a question to which I already knew the answer: did Lana grow up playing on boy's teams. Yes. That is a distinction which Germany offers better than a lot of youth programs I know. Girls who show talent young are often asked to train with boys, and it was obvious to me with Lana from day one. She has impeccable touch, and she really knows how to use her size/strength to get stuck in.

Lana currently plays for DJK Tusa 06 Düsseldorf, as she has been since the beginning of the 2022 season. Lana comes to Düsseldorf from Bayer Leverkusen, where she played in their youth programs from U15-U17 Bundesliga. In Lana's last season at Bayer (2021/22), she saw an impressive 15 matches and scored 10 goals. In her first season at Tusa 06, playing at the highest amateur level (Niederrheinliga/Association League), Lana saw 11 games, scoring 10 goals as well. Since moving over to Tusa 06, Lana has also been busy helping out with the first women's team, who also play in the Niederrheinliga.

Lana currently has a 2,3 german GPA (2.8 GPA, roughly translated), and so far is undecided as to her future major at an American university. But, as her track record in the classroom clearly shows, Lana will be as great in the books as she is on the field.
